Skillsmart Retail is joining forces with Skills Development Scotland (SDS) to host a Retail Careers Forum for careers advisers and teachers in Scotland. The event will be held at the Thistle Hotel, Edinburgh, on Tuesday 15th May from 10.00am – 3.30pm.
The aim of the Retail Careers event is to effectively promote opportunities in our sector to teachers and careers advisers so they are able to fully inform young people and their parents/guardians about the great range of career options available in retail.
Following the initial presentations, from leading retailers, we will be hosting two workshops: a WorldHost Retail training session at the Edinburgh Retail Skills shop and an overview of career opportunities with John Lewis, hosted at their Edinburgh store.
