Skillscentre Bucks joins National Skills Academy for Retail
Skillscentre Bucks, a vocational training centre set up by Wycombe District Council, has won a contract from the National Skills Academy for Retail to deliver retail training right across Buckinghamshire as part of a national network of retail skills shops. more

Wales Retail Basic Skills event

We would like to invite you to the Wales Retail Basic Skills event, on Tuesday 23rd March 2010. The event is being held at Cardiff Marriott Hotel, Mill Lane, Cardiff. The morning event will begin with tea and coffee at 9am and will conclude with lunch at 1.30pm. We are pleased to confirm our partners Basic Skills Cymru, Cardiff University and Cardiff Council will all be present and supporting the event. The event will be a round table event with open discussion about basic skills and learning, results from our recent basic skills survey and guest speakers able to show tangible benefits to engaging with basic skills support. It will be a chance to network and discuss current business challenges and the chance for retailers themselves to share experiences and learn about basic skills support in Wales.
